Catrina Skepper is a British-born model and television personality.

Early Life

Catrina was born in London in 1962 and lived much of her early years in Paris and London. She later studied Fine Art at the Courtauld Institute. While studying in London, Catrina was asked by a leading modelling agency to meet the world-renowned photographer, David Bailey who chose her for the cover of Harper's and Queen, and launched her career as one of Europe’s most successful models.

 

Career Highlights

Catrina’s first TV commercial was for Cadbury’s Flake, and was followed by numerous commercials for Pretty Polly, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Johnson’s Baby Lotion, Head and Shoulders, Findus, Avon, Gillette, 7 Up, Camay, Olympus, Ferrero, and the Greenpeace Anti Fur ad. Her Cadbury’s Flake and Pretty Polly stockings commercials have consistently been voted into the all time top ten adverts by the U.K. public.

Catrina is easily recognisable as the girl in the opening title sequence of the Bond film, The Living Daylights.

Catrina modelled on the catwalks of Paris, Milan, New York, London and Hong Kong. Her print advertising campaigns included Lancome, Wella, Dunhill, Burberry, Christian Dior, Harrods, Marks & Spencer, Martini, Nescafe, and Fiat.

Catrina has been featured in Vogue, Harper's and Queen, Tatler, Brides, Cosmopolitan, Woman’s Journal, Vogue Linea as well as in editorials for The Times, Telegraph and Daily Mail.

Despite her successful modelling career, Catrina later started to focus her attention and talents on a more diverse range of media related outlets including talent and event management. She later went on to be a creative consultant for TV.

Catrina’s TV appearances range from fashion spokesperson and presenter for various U.K. Television programs to being made host of NBC Super Channel “VIP” – a nightly prime time chat show. Her celebrity interviews include Sean Connery, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Placido Domingo, Diana Ross, Lauren Bacall, Kurt Russell, Jodie Foster, Keanu Reeves, Andrea Bocelli, Whoopi Goldberg, Dusty Springfield, Conan O’Brien, Richard Branson and President de Klerc, to name but a few.

 

Personal Life

In 1999 Catrina married her “Prince”, Count Alessandro Guerrini-Maraldi, and they are now the proud parents of three young children.

Fluent in several languages, Catrina is a sports and fitness enthusiast and takes a keen interest in business, politics, music and the Arts.

Catrina is known for her passion for animals, and throughout her career her faithful Labrador Jazz was by her side. Jazz was an incredible dog that lived until she was 16, adored by children and adults alike.
The youngest member of the family is another golden Labrador called Toffee, or Toffee Caramel, according to the children!
